Earl Grey Tea

We make an Earl Grey Tea up in Harris, for the base we use an exquisite quality Keemun tea which brings the scent of orchid, a gorgeous red colour and a mild, sweet taste. To that we add a very little Mangalem for its malty, slightly spicy notes. To make it very much our own, seasonally we source Bergamot fruit which we peel and dehydrate bringing an authentic fruity, bergamot flavour. Numerous studies suggest that Bergamot may help to lower LDL or bad cholesterol which makes it an extra special ingredient. Finally we add in a handful of our Calendula flowers because they taste lovely and add such a cheerful glow to the mix.
