I love Biscotti, there's something so pleasing about dipping it into a really good coffee, served in a beautiful cup. Elevenses don't get better than this!
So I made Harris Heather & Almond Biscotti with a hint of Orange. I like them to be large so they can be repeatedly dunked without risk of disintegration and I like the nuts to be chunky and finally I don't like them too hard. So this is my ideal Biscotti packed into bags of 4.
The cup is made by Pam Matthews who crafts them by hand and decorates them with the Harris landscape and colours as her inspiration, they are beautiful and each cup is marginally different.
And finally the coffee, this one is a Colombian and it's a beauty, natural not washed and full of flavour. It's a great choice for mid-morning and the flavour profile works really well with the Biscotti.
