In this 2 day event on July 9th and 10th, limited to 10 people, we really want to bring you into our world up here in Harris so we’ll be diving into our plants, making products, distilling, weaving and reconnecting.
Day 1 - 10.30 am July 9th
Guided walk to gather healing plants for a distillation, then down to the Apothecary in Leverburgh to distil.
Lunch of Soup and Bread
Olive oil, cold process soap making with Harris botanicals and some of the distillate.
Finish for the day at 5pm
Day 2 - 10.30 July 10th
Tai Chi on the beach to start the day
Coffee and cake
An introduction to the healing plants of the Hebrides with Amanda followed by Plant maceration and Therapeutic Balm making.
Lunch of Soup and Bread
A guided walk with Matt around the croft and greenhouse and then out onto the machair and shore with Caroline collecting found objects to incorporate into a weaving on a small frame loom
