Behind the Beans
Nestled amid verdant mountains, the high-altitude coffee plantations of CoopeTarrazú produce beans with unique characteristics - the green bean smells really strongly of toasted caramel. The cooperative is the principal coffee mill of the Los Santos Region and of Costa Rica and every bean produced carries the Fair Trade Certification.
100% of the grain pulp residue is composted and returned to farmers as organic matter to reintegrate into the plantations.
