Description

We organically grow 10 different varieties of specialist Roses in Harris and wild harvest one other which we distil in our big copper Alembic to make a beautifully scented Rose Face Mist full of therapeutic energy. Wonderfully cooling and soothing for skin prone to overheating. It is great to use when menopausal, offering a mood boost and deep, anti-inflammatory hydration for the skin.

We have over 200 roses on our croft and in our greenhouse, Gertude Jekyll, Munstead Wood, Wild Eve, Rosa Mundi and Gentle Hermione to name just a few of the varieties we grow, supplemented by Rosa rugosa which is prolifically growing throughout Harris.

We harvest throughout the summer making regular distillations to capture the developing season in our products.

Single Rose distillations are potent but we frequently double distil our Roses to capture every skin enhancing ingredient we can. Our Rose Mist is a very special product.

Application

After cleansing with either the Cleansing Balm, Mask or the Cleansing Oil, simply spritz the face liberally in rainbow arcs, then whilst still damp, apply a Balm, Serum or Cream to deeply hydrate and refresh the skin. In Summer, or if feeling particularly hot, the Mist can be stored in the fridge to maximise its cooling effects.

The Mist can be used on all skin types. It is particularly beneficial for skin which is sensitive or prone to flushing.

How long until I see results

We expect the skin to feel cooler rapidly and redness should reduce over time. Within a few weeks the the skin should feel stronger and brighter

Should I use the Mist every day?

You can use the Rose mist as often as you need it, making it ideal for keeping in your bag for a quick, cooling spritz as needed.
