To celebrate our local Meadowsweet and Roses, we pick both in season and put them into white wine vinegar. They are left to steep for months gradually releasing their scent and flavour so that the vinegar becomes little more than an extractive ingredient. Eventually, we strain the flowers and add raw cane sugar to soften the flavour and help the preservation. What you're left with is the most amazing concentrated flavour, simply a teaspoon or two to a glass of Wild Eve to really boost the florals and top it up with soda. Alternatively add it to plain soda for a refreshing spritz.

Refreshing alternative to ordinary cordials
It’s really nice, we mix it with mineral water and it’s beautiful and you can really taste the meadowsweet ( I’m a big fan). I’d definitely recommend it.
Love the size and shape of the bottle, felt like a special treat as I created and decorated my drink with a small sprig of mint. As a gift it is a perfect ‘little special something’.
Unusual and very lovely drink. A little on its own, or added to a cocktail or a non-alcoholic infusion. Either way is wonderful.
What a lovely drink, can’t get enough. My choice is a large splash with some fizzy water. My Christmas wish for 2025 is that it icomes in a bigger bottle. Thank you A S Apothecary team for this one, throughly enjoying.
